Welcome to Hedgehogs! Age range 3-18months

Here we nurture our youngest children in a warm, inviting and homely atmosphere. Your child's key worker will build a special bond with your little one, getting to know them inside out so they have a safe secure base from which they can begin to learn.

Babies are born naturally inquisitive and ready to learn. Our babies will explore Heuristic materials where they can learn cause and effect, enjoy stories songs and rhymes to develop their early language skills and much much more. They will have lots of tummy time experiences to strengthen their core muscles in readiness for crawling and walking. We develop your little ones fine and gross motor skills, our busy board is a real hit with our Hedgehogs.

Our Hedgehogs have access to our nursery garden, where they are able to use their senses to explore different textures, smells and noises.   

We will support you and your little one every step of the way as your child begins their weaning journey.  

We regularly take the babies out on walks within our local area and even take them swimming to the local pool! 

Before you child starts at nursery you will be invited to join our Stay and Play sessions to get a taste of what nursery life is like. Your child will then have several settling in visits before they are ready to start their first nursery day. Your child's key person will give you regular feedback about your child's development and share the lovely activities they have been doing through the Blossom Parent's App. Parents are able to send photos to us through the app so we can see what your little ones enjoy at home and continue this learning at nursery.
