Age range 24-34 months

In here, we see our little ones really begin to develop their independence skills as they begin to self serve their meals and snack with support from their key person. 

We go outside in all weathers and like nothing more than singing and dancing whilst splashing in puddles. All our rooms go on regular outings in the local area including the library and the park. 

Our practitioners work closely alongside parents and carers to support your little one with important points in growing up such as toilet training and feeding themselves. Our skilled practitioners will give you ideas of activities you can carry out at home that will link in with what your child is learning in nursery.

Why not take a look in our Lending Library and take a book home to share at bedtime? We have a range of books for all ages in there- even books for the grown ups!

Our Foxes love role play and will often be found in the mud kitchen making cups of tea for their friends or patting a child to sleep in the home corner. We include lots of real life objects in children's play so that they can freely draw on their own experiences, act these out and build on with their own ideas. 

Our staff are continually nurturing and praising to build the children's sense of self. We encourage them to be able to take care of some of their own belongings and begin to do things for themselves, preparing them for the next important steps in their lives.
